Aditi Dey
Aditi Dey’s research in the PEAK project at IIHS is primarily examining the industrial profile and history of Bangalore.
Aditi's academic training is in the discipline of History, having done a Bachelor’s in History from St. Stephen’s College and a Master’s in Modern History from JNU.
She has worked as an ethnographer and qualitative researcher at a research agency in Mumbai for two years. She has had a diverse range of research stints, which include volunteering with rights based movements and social surveys for public schemes, NGOs focusing on education and conservation, and a policy think tank. At present she is interested in studying the ways in which a city goes through transformations, especially at the level of particular sites and neighbourhoods.
