We aim to propose policy scenarios for transitioning cities to more sustainable forms of transport.
Haoyu Hu
Researcher
Haoyu Hu is currently a PhD student at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Peking University. His research interests include transport geography, regional planning, GIS development, big data and smart city. He skills at programming and designed a new Web-GIS during undergraduate period, which earned him a national award. He did some research about High-speed Railway’s impact on regional development in China and is a co-author of a chapter of a monograph in this area. He also has some experience in the study of regional transport policy and took part in several local and national transport planning. His recent research focus on the application of big data in traffic congestion and identification of metropolitan area in China.
