We focus on land use and housing issues in Chinese cities with the aim to provide policy recommendations that help improve land use practices.
Kangni Chai
Researcher
Kangni Chai is a PhD student of human geography in Peking University. She completed her undergraduate degree in sociology at Tsinghua University in 2013, and her Masters in Public Policy at Brown University in 2015.
Her research interests include urban housing, family housing choice, and real estate development. She is a key member of a public welfare project, Research on Supply and Demand Models and Operating Mechanisms of the Housing Leasing Market (funded by the National Natural Science Foundation).
