Pooja works on urban mobility with an interest in mass transportation and equity. As part of PEAK, she is investigating land-based financing for transport infrastructure in Bangalore.
Pooja studied city and regional planning with a specialisation in transportation and a certificate in Geographic Information System (GIS) from Georgia Tech, USA. She has previously worked on analysing equity of fare structures in Bangalore and Atlanta, demand substitution effects between ambulance and paratransit service in the state of Georgia and implementation of mobility plans in Tier II Indian cities. She is also interested in learning about ways of using open data and methods for understanding urban mobility.
