We aim to understand the dynamics of China’s internal migration and urbanisation by developing a socio-spatial framework and applying it to multi-scalar empirical investigations.
Yunxia Zhuo
Research assistant
Yunxia Zhuo is pursuing a Master's degree at the College of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Peking University. Her research focus is on urbanisation and floating populations.
She studied at Renmin University from 2014 to 2018, and obtained bachelor's degree in management and economics.
In past few years, she has participated in some social surveys and academic competitions, in which she studied the influencing factors of rural arable land transfer, the income effect of migrant workers' job mobility, the effect of population deconstruction policy in Beijing, and the spiritual state of the aged who migrated from rural to urban areas.
